Every grand opening starts with someone who believed it could work.

Ribbon Cutters was founded by Leslie Waddell after 14 years in home care at the franchisor level, leading learning and talent development, change management, sales, clinical and conferences for agencies across the country.

Along the way, two things became clear. Families going through the biggest transitions of their lives need more than one person in their corner. And the next generation of owners, the ones who will serve those families for decades, rarely gets the support that established operators take for granted.

Ribbon Cutters exists to change that. We help young founders open home care agencies with their own names on the door, and we help realtors build the partnerships that let them serve the whole family, not just sell the house.

Our shop is called Various Sundries, after a favorite saying of Leslie's dad. It's a reminder that the small, practical things are often what make a business last.
